A Digital Creator and Advocate with a Heart for Service
Chris Carberg has built a career as a versatile digital creator, visionary, strategic consultant, and founder over the past 15 years. Since then, Chris has co-founded numerous digital properties in various spaces, showcasing his diverse skills and interests.
Chris’s path to digital marketing was not a direct one. His background as a stage actor, playwright, director, film actor, writer, and producer has contributed to his multifaceted and creative approach to the digital world. Then, alas, he needed to make “money” with which to buy food, clothing, and shelter, and the digital realm seemed like the perfect place to set up shop. His journey in digital media began in 2006 when he launched HolyPop.com, a faith-based entertainment brand. He has been hired, fired, rehired, and refired multiple times, all of which were the perfect education to complement his highly sought-after theatre degree from the University of Central Florida.
With Michael Moesch, Chris co-founded Marion Media Group (MarionMedia.com), a strategic digital marketing consulting firm, in 2017. They lead the organic search marketing and brand creation for D50 Media, a Boston-based digital agency. As the Director of Content Strategy at D50 Media, Chris focuses on creating content that serves and supports various communities. Under his leadership, multiple web properties have been founded, including MesotheliomaHope.com, CampLejeuneClaimsCenter.com, and MesotheliomaVeterans.org, all aimed at assisting people with asbestos-related illnesses and advocating for veteran’s health & safety.
The centerpiece of Chris’s digital advocacy is in the field of behavioral and mental health. As someone who has been in addiction recovery since 2005, Chris is passionate about helping others overcome their struggles. Alongside Michael Moesch and Dr. Kent S. Hoffman, he co-founded AddictionHelp.com. With his wife, he launched PostpartumDepression.org, and he also created EatingDisorderGuide.com.
The duo has also worked together to establish other web properties, such as WaterDamageAdvisor.com and MovingOptions.com. (Note to reader: Chris expects to tell plenty of stories about those sites, so remind him later if he forgets.)
In his personal life, Chris’s most significant collaboration is with his wife, Jenna, with whom he co-founded two incredible children. He is passionate about his family, the New York Jets, Christian faith, entrepreneurship, movie scores, business, money, leadership, SEO, AI, writing, teaching, Star Wars, random facts, Trivia, Forensic Psychology, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and ultimately, helping others bring their ideas to life to serve others and themselves.
If you couldn’t tell, Chris is the more long-winded and ADHD-diagnosed half of the Moesch/Carberg partnership. However, Chris’s absurdly lengthy bio is a testament to his unwavering commitment to his work and the people he serves. His dedication and passion for service and advocacy shine through in his many accomplishments in the digital realm, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.
His vast experience and renaissance man nature have led him to FinanceHustle.io, where he aims to help more people achieve their dreams and live meaningful lives. He fully expects you to enjoy some of his posts and skip plenty of them. That’s alright. To each their own. Read what you’re interested in because that’s the only thing he plans to write about. As Chris’s childhood friend Vitor would say, “Different strokes for different folks.” That would make a great tattoo.
